Huh, that's weird, when I used to use reddit often, I didn't care at all which users are posting the content. Its a part of why I liked it, if the content is good, it doesn't matter if you have zero followers, or a superhero,

I doubt the target customers of the M2 ultra aren't going to be able to cover extra energy costs for a cheaper and more performant device.

The Intel Mac pro was too slow, unless you mean refreshing it, which I doubt is possible, because apple doesn't want to do anything related to X86 anymore.

Well, the article is speaking about the M2 ultra, which only going to be used in the Mac pro under Mac studio, both desktop computers.

Since when was TDP a deciding factor in desktop purchasing decisions? Sure M SOCs are great on laptops, but there are no reasons to get them on the desktop, slower, more expensive and with less compatibility.

As if that matters on a desktop?

Absolute best of class? What? A 4080 is best of class? And second of all, for the price it should be compared to the 4090, which absolutely demolishes it.

Its baffling that RHEL-based distros still don't support in place upgrades.

The result of that is people stick to a know list of apps, and the chance of new apps breaking in is almost impossible. Its why WhatsApp wasn't replaced by the mirad of chat apps that offer a better experience and better features.
