Yes, but in practice it's often easier to just fire up the C compiler and do some shim files and linking in the bottom.

Why not... you could "just" during compilation split it into several functions and daisy-chain them if it came to that, by letting one calling the other with whatever state is needed to transfer. I'd bet it could even be part

You'd go a long way with coal and steel. Heck, even large scale plain iron works would make something else entirely out of the ancient world.

Still, a stationary power plant would have eminently doable in my not so humble opinion. Even stone for cylinder offers great compression strength. Make it big enough and the scale works out to your advantage. Bronze bearings could be made

Upvoted, but not sure it's a tragedy. Much like that quote about democracy, it's a bad system, except the others are worse. Would be nice to have something better tho.

True. The Swedish military recently (a couple of years ago) raided the offices of Kockums at dawn to acquire prototypes and plans for its submarines.

Yep. All good old dystopic sci-fi of yesteryear was at least evil but cool . This is just sad.

As far as I know tomatoes can actually be slightly irritating to the intestines and some people should actually avoid them.

At first I couldn't see how this could work - I assume there is no yearly government check up on your cars including emissions? https://www.bilprovningen.se/boka-besiktning.html

Because to get to the same level of care and to emulate zero copay, I’d need better insurance or more savings allocated for health bills. Also cost of living is MUCH higher near many tech jobs in the US.

I think cases like this is why public domain does not exist in Sweden, nor can you disown Copyright, only “commercial Copyright”. What always remains is “moral Copyright”, which can’t be used for much except that it’s some sort of attributi

I have toyed with the idea of working in the US, and I'd have to make about two times the salary in the US to have the same quality of living as in Sweden. Three to four times the salary to have access to the same kind of medical care.

On Amiga, long was 32 bit and int 16 bit and that was a long time ago, when Microsofts int was also 16 bit. So they already shifted it up once. (Going from DOS to Win32 I guess.)

I think something about responsibility changes at scale. If a Tesla was a bespoke machine, I'd have no issues. But they know that if they position a feature and posture just-so-and-so, a certain fraction of their customers will get it
