I keep a git repository[1] of my son's (1,5 years old) keyboard hammering. He "types" until he accidentally leaves insert mode in Vim or leaves the computer, and then I commit it. In 5-10 years time I hope to be able to do some real-time vi

I have had both http://w3schools.com and http://www.w3schools.com in my block list for months, but w3schools still show up in my search results, and with www and not wwww or www1 or something like that. :-(

Just like with HTML/CSS and responsive design, you can use media queries in SVG images. That way you could do the optimizations suggested in the article, including changing colours, hiding details, etc. Take a look at the demo links at htt

Swede here, and as paranoid as the next person. I moved from Gmail due to privacy concerns. I block a lot of tracking domains at DNS level. However, those are trade-offs with very little negative impact in my daily routines. A slightly wors

This is preferable to :hover if it works ok cross-browser. I think/hope that most web developers have realized by now that displaying new UI-elements on hover is a bad idea, at least if they will hide other elements. Moving your mouse aroun

My standard work week is 37.5 hours, but Thursdays and Fridays I work half days, and from home, to spend extra time with my son, so it's currently 30 hours a week. I asked my team leader if she thought it was going ok, and her response was
