Typically in the US, you can “spoil” your vote and get a replacement ballot, even after you mailed it. So this is already in effect in some ways

This is just pricing being adjusted to reflect reality. It’s always been clear if you looked closely that if you’re getting food delivered for super cheap, something doesn’t add up.

I think a lot of folks commenting here think these bans are an attempt to reduce plastic usage or CO2. The bags are a litter problem, and the bans solve it.

This realization hit me after I wrote my original comment. Somehow never crossed my mind. I’ll definitely try this next time.

It isn’t just beginner hostile. The more niche and advanced your question is, the more likely it is to be incorrectly marked as a duplicate. Besides that, the answers you do find are often not helpful. For example, “just use this function i

Folks misinterpret that statement and use it as a defense. In reality it’s an offense- one bad apple might be a rot that can infest their colleagues and the whole system. It’s at least as likely as not that whistleblower incidents like thes

People are often trying to implement and shorten term limits. But it amplifies this problem, and it gives lawmakers an incentive to line up their next job in the private sector while in office.

I think a better analogy is asking if a water bottle can swim. It floats most of the time, and can move around if pushed. The reason “can be inaccurate sometimes” is a fundamental flaw is because my assumption is that it will never not be i

I think what an LLM is best at is fooling people into thinking it’s intelligent. It is really good at saying things in a natural sounding way, and statistically often getting it right, because certain strings of tokens are encoded. But it’s

At some point you have to realize that you might not be safe just because you aren’t in that country. I don’t think North Korea is going to kidnap you or something, but intentionally antagonizing foreign governments that aren’t amicable to

This guy seems like a “content creator” but the article is trying to speak to artists. Calling it “content” has already devalued the art to some marketing fodder. So I don’t think this is going to make many artists feel better. I think that

The latter group exists to counter the former. If folks weren’t making some of these over-the-top claims, then there wouldn’t be the claims to debunk.

If you really don’t like the product, the right thing to do would be to stop using it, not steal it. If the cost of a product exceeds its value to you, you just don’t buy it. It doesn’t mean you should get it for free.
