Twitpay doesn't use the twitter session. The way twitpay is setup, it's a lot easier to go without a password. The only ways not to use a password lead to ridiculously huge scaling issues. According to Twitter, they will offer OAuth ( http

I'm actually working on a twitter app that needs passwords that's soon to launch ( http://tweetlinkmonster.com/ if you want to see. You can signup if you want, it works and is secure. I just want to polish before really launching.) For now

I'm not saying that web apps are horrible. I'm just saying that certainly not now, and probably never, can they fully supplant traditional desktop apps. There are too many times when you're on a plane or for whatever reason can't get intern

The fact that they mentioned that it can be installed alongside another OS is good, because unless they plan on packaging it with more than just the browser, it always should be. I like web apps as much as the next guy, but they can never t

What I really like about emacs is extensibility in Lisp. I used vim until I wanted to be able to hack my editor. I have absolutely no desire to learn vimscript, a language useful solely for hacking vim. Lisp, on the other hand, is actually

This site has a pretty major flaw. It assumes one worker regardless of the number of adults, and it also charges for childcare. So really, both adults could work for half of the wage in the 2-adult models. I'm not begrudging people that liv
