I agree that higher is objectively better and more realistic. I think in a few years we will start seeing media catch up with this. The current trend is higher refresh screens. All new phones support 120Hz, and next generation MicroLED TVs

That is partially true but not entirely. Twitch still has a somewhat strict TOS and regularly bans streamers. The audience is not always allowed to watch what they want. I'm guessing this is because Twitch needs to be advertiser friend
