A little off topic but i can't get over that damn name, i read it as "cul" which is, by my shoddy translation, french for ass-hole. "Va mis en cul!" And from its performance that's actually pretty sound advice.

Working hard helps, but if your job is anything like mine (grad student) inevitably work can be quite an emotional/mental challenge in and of itself which may or may not help. So i tend to turn to exercise, running hard with music is akin

Seems like that would entail something in the phone that could see if it's connection to the base stations had unexpectedly fallen to almost zero. Assuming this is how being jammed works. This is probably quite hard to do on any non-sdk'd p

Trappenbergs, computational neuroscience is really nice too if you're coming from a math/physics/c-s background it's got just enough bio to know what's going on while covering the basic computational features.

neat, this is very important in classical mechanics. Orbits of your system trace out tori in the phase space, the cool thing is how the tori break up as you perturb your system from integrable to non-integrable. Chaos, without dissipation.
