How do you know what styling the project needed? What styling requires a button to stop being a button?

Thanks, although I am hobbyist bike mechanic, I never heard of Coasting before. Frankly, doesn't sound very attractive - a complicated (proprietary) automatic gear system relying on functioning (proprietary) front hub dynamo... All tha

They have something Asian about them. Not that this is good or bad per se, but I wonder if they work equally well everywhere.

Although I am fascinated by _why's personality and his art, I think this book is partly to blame that Ruby is not as popular as it could (and should) have been. It somehow embodies that proto-hipster vibe the Ruby community used to hav

That's ridiculous. The legislators don't have any reason (except being bribed by car industry) to encourage people to use cars instead of more human-friendly modes of transport. Also, if people are riding bikes on the pavement, it

I like it too, but with that price, I'm definitely not a target group. It's a nerdy device with a luxury price.

Sorry, you are conflating two things: placement and design. OP hasn't changed the placement of the cargo pants pockets. For me as a proverbial user, the interface didn't change. The implementation details did. Don't get me wr

Certainly sounds like an attack. As if someone can't wear cargo pants simply for their utility or, god forbid, find them actually aesthetically appealing.

Or that you simply have different aesthetic criteria. When did fashion start being axiomatic?

Yes, coincidence of reinventing the wheel. They reinvented cargo pants with pockets going inside instead outside. The purpose of the two is exactly the same: storing things. I don't care who invented cargo pants and who started wearing

There are thousands of gems out there which either offer some functionality not in Rails, or replacing/extending some that is (typical example being rspec). Vanilla means no (too many) gems on top of Rails.

It's been some decades since I watched Visitors, but isn't that basically a Czechoslovakian take on Doctor Who?

I know, but it as close to maximize as it gets. That's not my point, but that the behavior has changed dramatically.

IIRC the green button was "zoom", meaning it should adapt the window size to the window content, which in most of the cases resulted with maximizing.

Well, as an occasional MacOS user, it still pisses me off when I discover that maximize button is in fact full screen button.

Regular use of (e)bikes within a city can make people sell their cars, and use other means of transport for occasional longer rides. Since I replaced my car with a bike, I also spend much less time in a car on the highways.
