About time, on many fronts. Sales tax is the most economically beneficial tax (from a long-term viewpoint), encouraging savings, reducing consumption, and is taxpayer controllable. And it captures gray/black market transactions as well. N

Do you really feel that going all over the planet and turning the crust to sand is a viable long-term solution? Many mining engineer types and even geologists see no problem with this approach, but consider Appalachian coal: just because

There is nothing "weird" about blind "taste" tests. It's a good way to attempt to filter out at least a little bias, and here you have two competing products that do the same thing (unless your baseline assumption is that no one could ever

Don't bet on it. I have been consulting for many years, and the majority of my clients discount those with no college degree (doesn't usually matter what in), if they consider them at all. I don't really like to admit it, and I know many c

Not sure why an enterprise would want to host their source code at a separate company when it is just as easy to host their own source control system (git, mercurial, tfs, whatever) with their other cloud services (S3, Azure). I do not thi

I think something like Bootstrap is fine for any "web app"; working with a "standard" takes care of a lot of the details, and saves a hell of a lot of time. Maybe it's many years of Windows development, but it's kind of nice working to a C
