I actually have two boots on the same PC, one OS is for work, one OS for personal stuff. That way, all the things I install for work don't interfere after work hours (and visa versa). E-mails are loaded then separately too, so I don&#x

It's a cash grab for ICANN, IMHO. There's no need for anything but country TLDs. How often do you see .aero, .museum or .name? Nobody uses those, why would we need any more? And people are used to websites ending in the normal TLD

I think it depends on the contract you signed, you should go over that and check if it says something about it. IANAL, etc. Ask a lawyer if you want any reliable answer.

he once vetoed a candidate for a programming job because the candidate didn't know much about a specific programming language and then You want someone who can adapt to new roles in the company, not just someone

Whenever I try to use a template engine, I end up putting too much view logic in the controller. So we just use PHP files (with the .phtml extension so you know what's up). It's the default way for the Zend Framework.

No, Boeing lost a huge defence contract thanks to the NSA, Snowden just point it out. Had the Brazilians found out any other way, they'd still have cancelled.

Say I have a function that accepts I as argument: function my_func(I $x) { $x->foo(new stdClass); } That wouldn't be allowed, since your code requires an instance of Test, not stdClass

It has to work with all subtypes of stdClass, since in order for the interface to hold its word, I need to be able to get an object thats implements I, and pass it any stdClass, regardless of what they do with it.

Running speed is good enough, development time is way down. Kinda like using C# rather than ASM. What's the problem?

Right, wouldn't work then. Maybe you could set up a meeting with them, you and a notary, they bring the zip, you bring the password, you key it in, they extract it. That way, you also have official confirmation that it was all in fact

Maybe you can get them to accept an "updated" version instead of the zip file, that way you can just send the latest version and you bypass the zip file.

Why switch a language just 'cause it's the popular thing on SO? Stick with a language till you got the coding skills done. Switching language after that is pretty easy.

Never depend on the client to do your validation. Client side validation is a courtesy and/or usability issue, not something you can rely on in any way. Always do server side validation.
