We've spent a lot of the past 6 months cleaning out my inlaw's home. Her mom was a bit of a hoarder, mostly food. But half the garage and one bedroom were full of stuff from her father who passed away 15 years ago and her grandpar

It's annoying that the article (and many others) don't mention that the Snapdragon X Elite has 12 CPU cores (I believe all high-performance cores) vs. the M3's 8 CPU cores (4 performance, 4 efficiency). So it's not surpr

Shrug maybe. In general I think you can get a decent front end webdev cheaper than a comparable iOS dev. Even as an iOS dev, I think most iOS apps should be mobile web first or instead. I've seen a few that are nearly abandoned for web

I always called it "being Tata'ed". I know multiple people that have had to train their direct replacement at TCS. The trick is, the companies subcontract whole functions to Tata who are then free to hire H1Bs that then aren&

Yeah we use Meetup for probably 3-5 events a week at our makerspace. Their gradual decline has had us ready to stand up our own minimal replacement but Meetup.com is so good for discovery, SEO, etc. Their API changes have been a big pain in
