Careful, 'downvote to disagree' may disagree with you! :) I personally would like to see a public indication of the ratio of upvotes to downvotes, and maybe comments to flags. Without this or some other system of checks & bala

What means did you use to share your concern? AFAIK there's a reason a phone call is recommended: letters barely matter, and emails/electronic form submissions are basically equivalent to not sent.
