Banned by who? The app is sideloaded, it isn’t on the App Store. (“Sideloaded” here meaning from Apple/your phone’s point of view you developed the app and are just testing it, which is a fairly essential feature)

This sounds like the OSHA 10 class I recently had to do. I think the issue here is that if a business wants workers it is incentivized to make the tests as easy as possible, not to make sure their employees know what they’re doing.

Does anything on your PC notify you about plugging in a keyboard? I know mine doesn’t, and it definitely doesn’t prompt me about whether to use it either. You could check what devices you have connected but I doubt many people would do that

In my experience using copilot for generating code is usually a lot less weird because it has more context; instead of using made up function names and APIs it can see what’s been defined in other files. But I primarily find copilot helpful

To make things more confusing, both the iOS photos app and Google Photos automatically find faces in your photos and the other photos containing them and let you easily tag each face with the correct name. The technology to do this already

A lot of Discord’s memory usage is because it uses Electron/embedded Chromium. I agree that it does a lot more then IRC clients do, but I think it uses a lot more resources and is a lot less snappy then a native app.

If I remember correctly, a read later feature was actually recently added to Chrome…I guess it wasn’t as good of a call as you thought!
