I had a Facebook account today, it definitely wasn't worth $12 in entertainment per month so I deleted it.

Deleted my Facebook and Instagram accounts, I barely used them anyway and this was a good push to finally do it.

For coffee shops plus a concept, it's pretty common. Coffee shop plus guitar shop, plus maker space, plus plant store, etc.

I think, related, is the hope that switching to a new framework will somehow solve everything annoying about the old stack, and let you undo past mistakes. In reality, though, if you're lucky enough not to end up supporting two stacks

What I can say for sure is that it seems for years now like every individual person is 100% convinced that all the real, non-fabricated evidence confirms their priors and validates that they are totally correct and morally superior, and the

Copilot is great for explaining a bit of code, or suggesting an approach especially with a language I'm less familiar with. But, if I committed what it made, my code would turn into unmaintainable spaghetti.

Which is an interesting perspective if you're considering a lifestyle business. Can you build a small but meaningful competitor and draft off all the treasure some VC is plowing into r&d and marketing?

Really slow, more than anything. My own perspective is as a senior technical product manager, mainly dev tools experience, some entrepreneurship, plus coding. I'm only looking for all-remote roles. I've always been a little bit of

I believe this is their company handbook, not a marketing page. So more intended for employees, who presumably already know what the product is.

I guess you've been lucky to never have a bad manager? I can think of plenty of times in my career that corporate leadership was short-sighted. From terrible managers who think their job is to ensure butts are in seats, to turf battles

I feel like Scrum was one of the biggest, long-running slow motion mistakes I've ever seen. It was well intentioned, but retrospectively pretty garbage. The best faint praise you can give it I think was that it was better than planning
