This is wild. I wonder if it will end up being treated as part of a codec instead of edits to the base film, and can then be re-run to undo the video's? It feels like there needs to be a way to verify that what you uploaded is what

Curious if there isn't a way to ingest the incoming traffic at scale, but route it to a secondary infrastructure to make sure it's resolving correctly, before pushing it to production?

It's less the laptops and more how they're used and rolled out. Mindless and thoughtless use creates mindlessness. Especially where consumption interactions are conflated with creation and exploration. Digitization itself isn'

Not quite, DIY vs technologies like Unifi make it accessible to the masses where the former is for the few to feel good about themselves, and the latter makes a difference in moving things forward for the many without as much investment in

These are different levels of learning. There are learning frameworks that explain it all well enough. Learning what something is, vs applying what you learned has different terminology in the learning world, but not everyone might use that

It can be a little myopic becuase it takes effort to understand teh experience of someone who doesn't have the same skills (technical) as you. On one hand this is high praise for strangers assuming the best about them that they could l

This is not at all what I am saying. "GenAI" is nothing new. "AI" is just software. It's not intelligent, or alive, or sentient, or aware. People can scifi sentimentalize it if they want. It might simulate parts of

Agree. It’s assuming and estimating it will behave like other software before it when it’s nothing like the software that came before it. LLMs today won’t behave like the software we’re used to where 1+1 will equal 2 every time.

It’s possible to create a scoring system based on actual root cause analysis and impact scores. Surprised there isn’t more talk about a solution like this or something and more downplaying CVSS. Downplaying CVSS alone can smell a little lik

Why did OP have to mention AI and just ask for feedback on the solution itself and let anything come up organically? Big tech workers might be perceiving writing on the wall sooner - there have already been some layoffs. I also find a lot o

Wordpress sites served from a shared webhost get slammed by HN and go unresponsive all the time which can amount to a mini ddos. Wordpress plugins can cache the site but really in 2025 it should be built in instead of the forced paid plugin

You missed risk creation vs reward creation. And then folks can gasp and faint like goats and pretend they didn’t know. It reminds me of the time I met an IT manager who dint have an IT background. Outsourced hilarity ensued through sales p
