do not spend “innovation points” on anything that isn’t your core competency, period. that doesn’t only apply to google workspace, it also applies to things like payment processing, auth, etc.

for everyone complaining about the status page - status pages are normally operated by hand by design, and will rarely reflect things in real-time. give the poor github ops folks a second to get things moving.

you're making a lot of assumptions about how my deployment works here! my git repositories are all on the same server that hosts my website - git is not doing a remote fetch - it's a local fetch, which makes it basically instantan
