Do you do a lot of your creative work right at the MBP keyboard/touchpad? I can't imagine doing too much highly creative/productive work without an external monitor and peripherals. I wonder if they will be building an extern

Come on... Hotz doesn't really represent anyone but George Hotz. He is a very unique individual that was blessed with a very mathematical mind but very little social grace.

The dude is brilliant no doubt... But this space requires brilliance and a lot of spine. That is what makes someone like Musk so unique. Someone thats willing to risk it all, and won't let doors closing in their face and public opinion

Can't think of too many people that edit in Final Cut on their 13" or 15" laptop screen. The touchbar would be pretty annoying to use with your laptop docked and plugged into a production appropriate screen.

I think Apple now thinks of the Pro as someone who is a pro at using a OS X and their consumer software line... They edit family videos in iMovie, write jams in Garageband and edit their photos in Photos! These novel features are geared dir

In the last two years all of the artists at our studio (which does animation and interactive work) have switched to Cintiq's. We were really apprehensive to make the jump but they all seem extremely happy and some have even reported th

Additionally, I think they'd likely be far more concerned if Apple released an iMac like this (which I wish they would). Reason being, most graphics pro's are already on iMacs and if they suddenly had the drawing capabilities and

I haven't seen any sort of mass exodus from Wacom in the pro market yet. Wacom makes highly specialized hardware for graphics professionals. I don't think any fly by night piece of prosumer hardware is going to make them lose TOO

It's not really worth comparing costs until artists weigh in on the drawing capabilities of each piece of hardware. Wacom has had a corner on the market, and a lot of patents for a long time. I know comparisons of Surface Tablet vs. iP
