No. Grab an extension like HN Special or RES if you want the functionality. Infiniscroll is an evil creation, made worse by developers who insist on creating a footer at the end of the scroll view, just out of reach so that you can never qu

I've sworn by SublimeText until now. And Atom is getting released during a time when I'm increasingly learning to love console-only computing. I envision a day when I can travel the world with a cheap laptop/chromebook and do

The way I see it: location, mostly. SF has some of the best salaries for developers. Contrast that to India, where a "good" salary for a full stacker is about $15k per annum(!). Shit's ridiculous.

If you think that was their intention with this acquisition, you're mistaken. WhatsApp poses a threat to traditional social networking, and Facebook obviously wants a leg in that race.

Seems to check out, at least anecdotally. I seem to find that extremely good looking people are initially very hard to identify. For example if I had just met such a person briefly, I wouldn't be able to spot them in a crowd 5 minutes

I remember being on Facebook in its infancy. When the user's "wall" was just a <textarea> that was editable by anybody. I used to change the comments left by friends of friends to humorous effect (at least in my mind).

I think the greatest thing you learned on your 180 website trip was how to deliver. You've cultivated a habit of finishing projects and shipping them through the door. No matter how good a developer you are, that in itself is invaluabl
