You do know you have a unique ID displayed on a big tab on the vehicle, right?

That. Also add the parts that engineers are terrified to their bones of moving elsewhere because they don't know how to use anything else and will act as extension of the salesman to make sure they don't need to learn anything.

The question is not as much shelf life, as whether you want your kids to be builders or consumers.

I think you're jumping to conclusions that aren't supported by the digital ID proposal. Even with that: There's plenty of services dangerous to kids that we gate behind an ID check and I don't particularly see why intern

Many EU countries already issue a chipcard IDs which can be used to auth for government services (via NFC or a dedicated reader). So yeah, I'd expect those to move to a phone as an alternative to the card

Because this is an article about network adapters where someone again rants over USB markings which won't make a difference on the tested adapters if you exchange them. It's just ranting for ranting sake, not even related to topic

Which laptop is that? My Razer with 5070 will take 45W chargers just fine, so do the ThinkPads, my work 16" MacBook and previous Asus Zephyrus with 4070.

Most laptops will take 45W. There might be some workstations that don't, but even gaming stuff with 5080s will charge on 45W.

I've been in one and it's kinda meh? Its fine for what it is, but it's also filled with buggy bizarre issues on a level of VW ID.3 and doesn't match up with even something basic like latest Peugeot models.

I had like... less than 10 minutes downtime on Hetzner in years (funny enough, that makes my personal containers more reliable than productionized AWS and GCP deployments with their constant partial outages). So perhaps all that complexity
