Kubernetes is sometimes just overkill to deploy a simple application and just zip, unpack and start a script is sometimes too fragile and crappy. This is something I would like to try on my Pine64 when I run some simple utility (online) sof

PR's are a man made ritual that was never required by GIT. Just like we are all doing the Lean/Scrum or whatever dance. It does not change the development process, it's just a man made ritual for collaboration. The branching

Yeah I know of it's existence but I always forgot how the interface in aptitude works. It is not intuitive for me. I prefer apt for command line. 99% of the time I mostly use 'apt install x' and that is it. Changing a package

Please report the issues as Libreoffice developers would like to know how to improve it. Might I also suggest trying ONLYOFFICE, it really looks and feels like MS Office. I am not a heavy Office user so I never run into issues but this one

I understand the sentiment but I never started using hibernate; it's not in my system. I grew up without it and never used it when it was introduced. Keep in mind that I started software development when laptops did not exist yet.

Well I never had any issue as I never put my machine to sleep. I actually turn my machine off and on. Yes that includes my laptops, sbc's and desktops. I also advise everyone (even Microsoft users) to never use hibernation. It's n

They will probably start requiring SecureBoot as well. So at some point running Linux will also pose a problem. It's not impossible but the extra steps are a pain in the butt.

I think I can say that this wasn't the case with Sun Microsystems. I never worked there but everything I read on tht company was positive. I gate the fact that Oracle (one of the worst) bought them.
