Cmap Tools is the best! I've tried all kinds of other mind-map and concept-map tools, but always keep coming back to Cmap tools and the "default" styles with simple lines and arrows. Here is an example with some concept maps

This book, ISRS, has been "superseded" by Introduction to Modern Statistics (IMS) whose homepage is: https://www.openintro.org/book/ims/ You can read IMS online here: https://openintro-ims.net

It's not a book but a website[1] and a talk[2] that explains a good strategy for writing docs, based on four quadrants. [1] https://documentation.divio.com/ [2] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4vKPhj

I agree with you, though I wonder what's included in your definition of "do statistical analysis" ? Is it just using the stats functions as blackboxes without understanding what is going on under the hood? I find using Pytho

Yes, that's exactly my experience. Most people who install windows don't bother to set the locale correctly, so everyone ends up en-US. So if you trust the Accept Language header, you'll get it wrong.

Speaking of editing web pages using gdocs, I implemented this approach[1] on a recent project to make an easy-to-use CMS. The server acts as a proxy to get the HTML from google docs and does some cleanup[2]. It's pretty good for simple
