I'm one of the developers. We created the app and service this weekend at a hackathon so it's still very new. We know there are limitations (especially: if you close the MacBook, the alarm will not work) but we're working on

I think this sums it up quite well. Making programs and making the computers and software that run programs are two very different things.

That's sounds like example of someone with math skills applying them to make an awesome bit of code. But I've also heard about math PhDs write the sloppiest code code imaginable: functions 1000+ lines long, copying and pasting fun
