Aside from the fact that it's relatively new compared to other engines, 3D performance isn't quite up to par with other engines yet. I think people are too critical about this, and to be clear, 3D is perfectly capable of doing goo

Agreed - I’ve found and been astonished by Github users who maintain hundreds of these little npm packages, all of which have usually under 10 lines of actual code, and sometimes even have chains of dependencies on the user’s other packages

Wine configuration can be a bit of a mess - luckily tools like Lutris and PlayOnLinux are a huge help, since they essentially give you the Wine version and install script that automatically sets everything up and has been tested to work.
