If you take Paris as an example, CDG has a train station in it. The airline will sell you the train ticket together with the plane tickets so you just get a second ticket which looks like a plane ticket except for the train. You literally g

Maybe I'm missing something, but why do the coal & oil plants get a free pass to dump their waste into the air? Its much easier to contain and store nuclear waste because you can keep track of it, whereas the coal and oil waste is

Its also impossible to master because what can be 100% correct in the US is wrong in India or in the UK or in Australia or New Zealand - all of who have English as their native language.

I run/bike through the winter here (we have pretty mild winters with temps rarely falling below -10°C). On especially cold days I do notice that I cough a lot after exercising but normally its not enough of an issue to actively do some

Loosely connected to this: my younger brother is currently at the end of American high school and now has the choice to move on to higher education or try to get something going on his own. He is adamant about not going for further educatio

In theory there is no difference between practice and theory, in practice, there is. While your computer case is designed to act as a Faraday cage (for EMI compliance reasons), this is only given when its new +some years old. Many opening&#

Seems like ESD. The ESD event makes electrostatic fields, means you don't need to discharge directly into the circuits, a discharge onto the case of the PC will create very strong fields also inside of it. These short term fields can c

If you have anything that's even a bit more complex (4 layer with a power and GND layer) this technique fails. However, pretty cool if you're working on 2 layer boards!

I work at a unionised company, our union is called IG Metall. You can google the EG (entgelt) levels - engineers range from EG14-17 + an additional % each month (depending on your productivity range from 10-25% of brutto on top) + we get 14
