If you don’t like clocks then the nicest earth experiment are free electron lasers. They basically rely on length contraction to create coherent light waves (you accelerate electrons until magnetic undulators are spaced at target wavelength

Except sun hasn’t become meaningful hotter in the past hundred mil years. Also, we would need lots of sulfer dioxides to get emited, which isn’t happening. Will earth suffer over the next billion years and lose atmosphere? Sure, but that’s

Earth survived way higher co2 levels and we don’t emit nearly enough sulfides. There is essentially zero chance of Venus event happening. I’m more inclined that climate change can cause catastrophic war than runaway to ultra high temperatur

I mean, in the US in 2017 after condensed matter Physics PhD where I did nanofab I could go work for intel/asml/lam and get like 110-140k starting. Or I could do data science/more SWE related and get 140-250k. The choice wasn

I think as a photo editing tool. The neatest nontrivial use i know is to “delete” objects. You can use segmentation algo to highlight an object and set its energy to 0 then seam carve out “naturally”.

Mozilla is a non-profit which, in my view, is valuable only as a chromium alternative. Why must it be big/etc? Being a megacorp shouldn’t be Mozilla’s goal.

It is not weird in that countries enforce what they see as antiterrorism laws outside their borders (US is a prime example). The problem here is that China is targeting essentially anyone with a strong critical voice.

But feds argument was that they are not empowered to regulate ISPs. So effectively there is no regulation either way on Fed level and so the state isn’t going against anything.

Aren’t there mixer services for that or just convert to monero? This is off an exchange so lots of shenanigans to make things less traceable. I am guessing these people know what they are doing.
