There is still an “old beard”, it’s just expectation that if you are an old beard getting stuff done you’re an L6+ instead of just senior. No one would look down on a wisen old senior principle.

You can but it shifts the burden to the decoder. Since an iron bar over some time period has a finite number of states, there exists a decoder that maps state changes in the iron bar to your Fortnite gameplay. I think a more fair criticism

But presumably they care if bitcoin is still exchangeable to something (maybe goods and services?). The exchange rate to currencies determines the exchange rate to everything else. If they don’t care about exchanging bitcoin for currencies

Big EV are absolutely more polluting. They require more resources in their construction — which is a major driver of overall pollution footprint. Larger EVs also require more energy (eg electricity) to propel them, and all electricity sourc

No, the grant, before any reactor, is equivalent to 400 MW (later adjusted down by capacity factor). The nuclear reactor itself is vastly more expensive ($2.4B after the 5th unit). So each reactor is closer to 1500MW of wind (again if we t

Tokomak control has some RL experiments but it is definitely not the only way. AlphaZero is… not quite a practical application. I am a big believer in using AI to improve the world, but RL is just a direction that isn’t yet sufficiently mat

I think decision making in driving is highly contextual, but LiDAR doesn’t help there either. Purely visual field extraction is something even very simple animals can do (presumably which much weaker abstract context processing capabilities

We know in a sense that very simple animals do it and it doesn’t require decision making (in a sense that LiDAR only helps with perception).
