It has a lot to do with the peace of mind as well: "OK, I have to work till 60, but then I'm going to be pretty comfortable" Inflation obviously takes a bite but it takes the same bite even if you put $5k a year when you're 40.

It doesn't matter only you reach Google, Verizon, Twitter or Amazon status. Let's face it, very few will reach it and there's a lot of money to be made by others.

I honestly thought about this, back then when stock market had 'predictable returns.' Imagine $100K ($25k X4) in a retirement account for 40 years.

'I also think that if your entire business relies on the rankings of an algorithm of a third party company, you are doomed anyway.* What you say makes sense but especially a startup can very easily go under. It doesn't take much for Google

" Providing a password is not testimony. You're not testifying to anything. " Where did you put your ex-wife's body Mr Johnson, we know you killed her? Just point at the map, you do not even have to say anything.

Problem with it that even if you are right, you'll think twice about suing, so it works both ways.

OK, if your site gets demoted by Google, do you really know why? I mean they are bought links, spam etc which are obvious, but what if G met and decide that X sector should have lower priority in search results. How do you know they aren't

'Hackers' used to have a special status, but soon enough they'll be considered like pirates were in the 17th century. It's just isn't cute anymore. Or harmless.

Stop bashing Apple if you are using a MAC. Read its EULA, you agreed not to say anything bad about Apple when you first bought your Mac. :) God knows what I agreed to when I installed XP.

Here's the problem: For everyone that makes it with a college degree they are 1000 that might regret it 10-15-35 years from now. College, then, will be like a high school diploma now. Can you take that chance?

Systems comprised of vast numbers of highly interconnected, constantly self-modifying feedback loops exhibit chaotic behaviour. Who'd have thought it? Ummm...how does that explain sites that stayed more or less with a range for many years
