Yeah I've considered freelancing+frugality as a viable alternative. My goal being to minimize the amount of "work" I have to do to survive, so that I can focus on getting interesting stuff done. I just consider it such a damn waste to sit i

I'm in my early 20s. Startups seem to be the only way out of 40 years of mediocrity in TPS-land for me, so I don't really think I have much of a choice. It's startups or nothing for me. Or maybe I am being myopic? Are there more options to

Either I am way under-estimating the difficulty of executing a startup, or I am some kind of superman able to tolerate way more of life's shit sandwiches (without crying myself to sleep every night). Which one is it? I kinda need to know be

Are there any good startup ideas around testing and improving stuff like this? Some ideas: http://ideashower.posterous.com/idea-bodyhacking-blood-work-... http://ideashower.posterous.com/site-idea-informal-science-e... Or maybe CureToge

Well I'm drinking Absolut Vodka right now, but that's just 'cause I'm hung over. Writing code is the farthest thing from my mind right now... Seriously though, let's start a discussion about better coding through chemistry in general. Nicot

Cool. The reason I ask is because I am always trying to come up with ideas (see http://ideashower.posterous.com ) but I feel I keep circling around a few domains when I brainstorm ideas. I could do well to expand my vision. If you have any

I'm in Sweden so my knowledge of the situation comes from inferring a general Zeitgeist via online reading on this and other sites. So take my remarks with a few grams of salt. That's interesting btw, care to tell me a bit more?

I am intrigued and wish to know more of your ideas. What are some ideas for automation of the physical word? I am always looking to feed my creativity algorithms with new domains.

Well, good riddance. Is it just me, or is money being thrown at a lot of crap these days? As long as it has a cutesy name and is based in the Valley, it gets bukkaked with millions of dollars by eager investors. All this cash floating aroun

Shameless plug: I wrote an essay called "Tony Robbins über alles: or why I'm such a gigantic self-help junkie". Some of y'all might like it, some probably won't. Take it for what it is: my somewhat sound defense of my overly costly self-hel

Isn't that what most people do, though? And most people are not living the optimal version of their lives, or anywhere close (optimal being defined as the life one wishes one had). Before I started reading self-help materials, I was intelle
