Slightly different take on this - there is a dude[0] who attempts to cross countries (Wales, Norway) on foot in a straight line. His videos are highly entertaining [0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeoWizard

The problem with this approach is that although you reduced procrastination you basically eliminated most useful search results. Searching without adding 'reddit' or 'wikipedia' yields 99% spam

I wonder if the ad bombardment we are suffering for some years now will eventually reach a critical point to trigger mass exodus or protests. TV got annoying with ads and viewership greatly decreased but that was caused by the emergence of

True, my comment was a bit loaded but 'shit' in my comment was not really mean excrements... I used it to mean 'problems' in a hard, loaded way like 'This is the shit I have to deal with' with some parallels to

Not from the photon's point of view. It is emitted and absorbed immediately. The distance traveled (in 4d spacetime) of a photon is always 0, no matter (pun intended) what's in between or what you observe.

This is survivorship bias. They 'knew' it only retrospectively, they also 'knew' a lot of different incorrect theories. In some sense one could argue that Aristotle halted the progress of physics for about a thousand yea
