AppGratis's response[1] to this new development (and the repeated allegations of gaming the App Store) is weird and full of double-speak. > Allow me to jump right into this by saying that yes, we have created a business while solving a

It's a rant about how nobody does anything important anymore and an entire generation has been wasted over a post about a new iOS app made by three people. It's a total non-sequitur: the only thing to argue against is how over the top and o

Entire generation? It's three people[1]. It seems you personally don't find value in this app, and that's okay, but it's a bit hyperbolic to write off an entire generation over it. There are most assuredly people who are doing more than g

That's for variable names, not run-of-the-mill text. Variable names (and, in certain situations, dictionary keys) generally can't have spaces, so if you're generating code off of the data set, having to generate variable names (or dictionar

Where did you read that you shouldn't use quotes to encapsulate text? RFC 4180 ( http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4180 ) says you may. Many CSV generators and CSV parsers don't conform to RFC 4180, however, but if you're planning on transmitti

Indeed. An easy tell for English that isn't written by a native is a space before the closing punctuation (e.g., "Collect Your Prize Now !") and that's present on a few of the entries.

Good advice, with a couple of caveats about PSRs: - They're not all about coding standards: only two of them are. PSR-0 is a class autoloading standard and PSR-3 is a common interface for loggers. The next PSR is likely going to be a common
