Why do you say that? It seems like a great halfway point between Scratch and Python.

AI could help with scale. Schools need to build SCIFs for their students to complete evaluations in an environment guaranteed to be free of AI assistance.

Absolute statements using words like "always" and "never" are always mistaken. The world is never so simple.

I think you have the consequences of AI exactly backwards. AI provides virtual headcount and will vastly increase the ability of small teams to manage sprawling codebases. LLM context lengths are already on the order of millions of tokens.

It just goes counter to the way I think about LLMs. It assumes end-products will merely be thin wrappers around an API, perhaps with some custom prompts. It's like thinking of the internet as a faster telegraph, instead of understandin

I wonder how much of this is a data play for OpenAI as they work to improve language model performance on longer time horizons.

I'm not surprised that they found a reason to uncap their profits, but I wouldn't try to infer too much from the justification they cooked up.

I disagree. Most people will go through a time in their life where they could benefit from a therapist--maybe to cope with bullying in high school--perhaps to mentally and emotionally process a terminal illness or the loss of a spouse or ch

You saying talk therapy just isn't for you is like me saying physical therapy just isn't for me. Well, I'm glad that everything is functioning well for you in that area, but it would be kind of silly for me to write off physi

I wouldn't trust ChatGPT to help someone in a mental health crisis, but I would be glad to find out my dad had started using Claude Sonnet to process his transition into retirement. I believe Sonnet would encourage a user to seek profe

There are a lot of awful therapists out there. I wager that Claude Sonnet 3.7 given a suitable, straightforward system prompt would handily outperform non-doctoral degree therapists in a clinical trial, even if the humans had the advantage

It's not a project. Just open Claude or ChatGPT and tell it what you want to do. You could copy/paste your comment above. If you want to get slightly more fancy, use Google's AIStudio with a simple system prompt.
