I had EXACTLY this situation with GoDaddy earlier this year. I was looking for a good domain name, found it (intelface.com), but decided to sleep on it. Next morning it was gone. I know you can't prove anything, but it looked very suspiciou

I am a 'technical co-founder' and I can't say how many times I'm approached by people who want me to build some application for them in exchange for 10-20% of equity. What do they bring to the table? In most cases it's just their 'idea'. So

Well, keep in mind that this is a pretty innovative idea, so it takes time to figure everything out... I think what they do is actually pretty awesome. Especially when it comes to paying the bill - it save a huge amount of time.

You can criticize this guy, but what he does with his money is actually moving us forward. I have a huge respect for him and his innovative ideas.

"At CloudFlare TTFB is not a significant metric." People might think that this article is written to educate masses. The thing is - if you take webpagetest.org and run speed tests with and without Cloudflare, in MANY cases 'Load time' will

In my previous company we had a solution that cost $1000/mo. When we advertised it on the website - we had virtually no signups at all. When we removed it - some people start contacting us and some of them were converted into customers. Whe

I can say from my personal experience that this book inspired me to come to the US first and move to Silicon Valley later. Everyone's perception is different. I read it 10 years ago when Coelho was not that popular and while reading it I wa

Strongly disagree with Rule #5: Have a “no-touch sales process”. That's actually one of the biggest reasons why companies fail. Founders are afraid to talk to people, they just build something and wait until somebody comes and buys it. What

In my opinion CEO title should almost never be applied in a startup environment. It just shows how small you really are when you talk to people. I remember was working for one startup where we had CEO, CTO and me. How ridiculous it was befo

I was under impression that laptop without Windows/MacOS on it should cost less. Apparently it's not the case here. I don't really see any competitive advantage vs. Dell, HP, Toshiba, etc.

He forgot to mention that 90% of all startups produce waste (leveraging VC's money), while 99% of small businesses produce real value simply because they don't have a choice.
