I concur. In this case, I also think the development time to port the code to Python 3 is worth it, simple because Python 2 will be EOLed in 2020, which isn't that far away!

It's easy to romanticize "carefree childhood", but I think that's baloney. I've loved working with computers for literally as long as I can remember. When I was 13, working with computers was playing! Getting paid

I've done this for years, even working on homework in my college cafeteria or other public space. It's actually an interesting social phenomenon: if I'm sitting at a table surrounded by textbooks, notes, and my laptop, people

I agree! That was actually my first introduction to programming - copying snippets of JS that popped alert boxes to impress my friends in elementary school. More recently, I've explained the whole idea of web programming to non-develop

I'm wondering the same thing - does the spec saying that it doesn't support Intel graphics just mean that I'd have to dial down the resolution, or is it a hard stop?

It seems like this is why they have the clause that you quoted. They aren't yet comfortable guaranteeing reliability or backwards compatibility (i.e. what "beta" means). If these things are crucially important to you, there&#

This. There are so many things that having a pair will just serve to inhibit (exploratory development/research, etc), and some things that just don't need it (simple tasks, automation projects, etc.) I love pair programming when w

Huh. That's a very interesting thought. The first thought that pops into my head is the risk. The appeal of trying to terraform Venus (or Mars) is that there isn't a huge existing population of humans. If we mess it up, well...tha
