Ugh, yes! I'm really into, running, for example. I go to Reddit running subreddit, and it's all just "I completed a 5k and lost 50lbs" or "I'm just getting started, here's a picture of me I'm so proud

Can anyone tell me what a "trading strategy" at this level might look like?

One of these things is not like the other.

This is very cool, great website too. I actually looked up Tulsa while reading this. Well done. When I search Tulsa in Google maps the default street view is a desert looking place though. I wonder if they could affect that.

One issue here is that law is heavily licensed in the US. Same as non-software engineering. So you need a law license or PE license to dispense legal or engineering advice, respectively. Doing so without those licenses is illegal (practicin

Can you expand on this comment? I'm running into Gartner more and more in my current position and am wondering about how legitimate they are.

How do you mean puzzling? 2580 is straight down the middle on a normal pin pad. :)

Ugh that giant social media sharing platter in the bottom is unremovable on the phone and takes up a bunch of real estate. Going to try to view this on my computer, but for now don't bother if you're on mobile.

This is really unnecessarily dismissive. I'm not a Steve Jobs expert, but have read his biographies (both the sanctioned one and the other one Becoming Steve Jobs), and the comment seemed right in line with what I had read and understo

Agree. I have a job and you can either be remote or onsite. I am well on the way to c-suite roles partially because I choose to be on-site, and of course the necessary hard work. We don't typically make someone COO or Director of Engin

In what way is "enjoy[ing] the prospect of potentially denting the universe a bit" obsession? Are you saying that being motivated by things other than finances is obsessive?

Ugh, just admit it if you did it, or say nothing. This post I'm responding to comes across badly. I'm sure no unaffiliated-with-you vote fraud bots were swarming to upvote your particular random article, so common sense says there

Same here, I’ve been a premium member for many years, and a user for about five years. It’s one of the few services I happily pay for, along with Spotify and Netflix. I have friends on there, and have added people I’ve seen on workouts. The

Washington, DC: $50/mo + tax, gigabit. Promo of 2 mos free brings it to $41/mo. http://www.rcn.com I've been very happy with it, aside from upgrading my modem from docsis 3 to 3.1.

I dealt with this recently. Was asked to implement a LRU cache. I knew the trick, use two data structures to keep things sorted and accessible in constant time. Could do it in my sleep. Had to pretend I had never seen it before, started wit

DC has this plague now. Zero to, what must be five or six, dockless bike companies. They're such a nuisance, people throw them in dumpsters, in rivers, park them in the street, block the sidewalk, break the locks and ride them normally

True. My team started targeting site availability since using that as a measure. Now my site uptime is four nines! About to tell them to cut it out.

No, it's not. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of that word. And you're really asking why we should focus and prepare citizens with higher education?

I agree with this. I tried to learn React and Redux a while back, and didn't really grok it, so I built the React app without Redux. Ended up passing state up and down many, many layers of components and it got pretty hairy. So I added

So your thesis is that experts are local, then the dish moves non-local, where there aren’t any experts, so they just pile on local ingredients to make up for it? This comes across as kind of a silly view.

Do you have a link for this? Interested in the corrective action. Also, any suggestions on reading to learn about bgp generally to the specificity one might learn IP/TCP from a networking book?
