That is fucking amazing. I’ll email you. Thank you so much for even typing that out. I also played hard support almost exclusively, back when buying wards was not a thing.

That is so cool. I bet that was an absolute blast. Can I ask for a war story? Something hard or goofy that I as I player (and a software engineer) probably had no idea you had to solve? I really loved that game.

It really isn’t. I haven’t watched the news on tv in probably 20 years, I haven’t had any social media accounts ever, and at this point I use the internet as part of my day job, to do my job. It is absolutely amazing to be so disconnected a

Yeah, the dead comment really cements the bias of hn despite what people claim. I don’t use either platform, I have no interest in the debate. As an outsider looking in, the bias has been proven. Not that it matters much, I am left-of-cente

The world population will peak sometime between 2060 and 2100, and then start declining. 2060 is like… 34 years away. https://www.un.org/en/global-issues/population

Why are you implying that advocating for your belief and making someone else endure that advocation is some kind of right? It is not. As to your question, there are a lot of extreme beliefs that sometimes end up becoming true. IIRC the pers

I would counter with people who believe the earth is flat. This is in fact an extreme belief. The best part is, I don’t care if people believe this, not even a little a bit. I care when they start arguing with me and trying to jam their bel

The joy of working with seasoned cast iron cannot be overstated. Heavy isn’t bad, we could all do with a bit of exercise. Easier to clean and maintain I disagree with, if you’re willing to do a bit of work up front.
