I listened to wondery’s multi part podcast “spellcaster” about sbf. One of the most fascinating takeaways I had from that show was the fact that he used to play the game Diplomacy with a specific strategy: he would intentionally make allian

The mitigation for sql injection attacks is to parameterize your queries- in other words, separating the “program” (the sql query syntax) from the “data” (the parameters to the sql query) I am unaware of a similar mechanism for llms. Anthro

Those households also have one poorly configured Wi-Fi access point, which is jockeying for airtime with dozens of competing access points in the same frequency range, meaning the customer is realistically going to see maybe 200Mbps aggrega

Eh, don't worry, the rich among us will bottle up the 'good' air and, well, just watch the clip from the documentary "Spaceballs" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz0xULQIaSU

Read the reviews on alibaba and it seems the n100 doesn’t have a power on after power loss option? (Edit: the bios not the cpu) Would like to pick one up but need it to auto reboot after power loss. Anyone have one to check if this is true?

That’s what I was talking about as well. A pager is the only mobile communication device allowed in those spaces so it’s impossible for a family member to contact you when you’re walking around otherwise.

This is why I have two cars: one nice car and my 15 year old prius. At one point, that prius was all I could afford. Stepping into that car grounds me and continually reminds me that I was happy then, and can be happy now, no matter what my

I was not aware of a democratic vote by women on the state of their pockets? IMHO you have it backwards. The women that control clothing decisions are a small minority of all women. I bet if you polled women you’d find a majority that would

I have never laughed at a police officer during a traffic stop. I'd assume, as a driver, laughing at an officer is a straight line to a ticket or, at worst, an arrest.

The encryption isn't too much of an issue, you're usually just paging a phone number or a code like '911' from your family who otherwise have no other way to reach you.

I would say my worst experience with self checkout was at ikea. During a busy time of year, we visited ikea and picked up about $1000 worth of stuff. As you know, $1000 can net you a lot at ikea - so we probably had at least 50-60 items. We
