I've read the article. If they don't have a product released, then accusing someone of taking away their livelihood (aka income) is ridiculous.

What does meta.company do? I can't find anything about them. How did Facebook steal the livelihood of a company that doesn't have any products or sell anything?

All major car companies manufacture EVs. Off the top of my head, I've seen BMW, Prius (Toyota), Honda electric cars outside recently.

HN is a fickle beast. My guess is that this post was marked by moderators manually to ignore flags.

How do you define a peripheral? An Oculus Quest is basically a repackaged smart phone.

I've tried Paddle, its great that its open source, but doesn't hold a candle to Google's OCR. Pro-tip: if you only need it for a few images, Google photos automatically does OCR if it recognizes its a doc.

I doubt this is a censorship, or a anti-counterfitting feature. It's most likely something wrong with the codec used to display images, possibly 10-bit heif photos are being interpreted as 8-bit jpegs. See other people getting the exac

Some modern cameras (mostly delegated to broadcast cameras) still use prism to split light into multiple different sensors. See this 8k 3CMOS camera: https://pro.sony/en_FI/products/4k-and-hd-camera-systems/uh
