There is no compelling reason to switch to or use passenger. Only the enterprise version is feature-parity equivalent to mod_wsgi. Ofcourse mod_wgsi doesn't have an external daemon (the flying mode) but uWSGI has that and many other no

Set aside the small examples and theory about what's best, no argument beats a real world example. Are there any large opensource haskell web apps that one could read to see how it really done ?

That's horrible to integrate with other django apps that override admin templates or do anything that's not trivial. Reusability => 0.

You can't customize shortcuts, the default ones are pretty bad - forcing you to use two hands to operate the inspector (on qwerty layout at least). I've given up completely on Firefox as a developer's browser ... Chrome's dev tools are bett

The article is a bit wrong about supervisord. You can load environment variables from a defaults file - just use a wrapper script. Eg: #!/bin/sh source /etc/myservice/defaults exec celeryd $@ And start that from supervisord. Also

You can write it like this: python -c "while 1:import sys,random;sys.stdout.write(random.choice('\/'))" and it's shorter too !
