It's a little depressing how relatively radical the attitude of the legislators in the article is. It's not that they think this is 100% absolutely going to work. It's just that they realize what they're doing now isn&#x

I love the simulated random failures in malloc and I/O, it's something I haven't seen at all in other software. Maybe some people do it, but I think it should be more common.

Trello. I have lists for daily, monthly, and yearly goals. There's a calendar view and due date feature now too, although I don't use it very much.

Best website = use elance/odesk/et al to build up your network...and then stop using them. There's legit, high paying work on those sites but the signal to noise ratio is pretty bad. I've used elance myself -- it's

I've reached the same conclusion myself. I always find the lists of "sleep hygiene" suggestions to be incredibly misguided. Proper sleep hygiene is important, but I've come to believe that blue light is the most importan

I'd come up with a forwarding address just in case. I do have several email addresses pointing at my main gmail public. One of them doesn't get any spam, the other keeps getting spam from one idiot offering me SEO services. But th

Hack your weight by eating healthy and exercising with regularity. You say you "ate Paleo-ish" but ultimately you have to restrict calorie intake. Supplemental testosterone? I've never heard of that being used for weight loss

Redis. I got back into web programming this year and looked over all the NoSQL databases and it was the only one that really stood out to me. I've even read a bit of the source code and it's all very well done and nice to use.

Props for using Redis. I've been hacking on a project that uses Redis only and it's been an enjoyable experience. I have to agree with mean anonymous comment guys that the interface could use some work, though. Too much whitespace

I can highly recommend reading the Relaxation Response for a scientific treatment of meditation. Much like exercise, if it came in pill form, everybody would take it.

I'm not super familiar with Julia but it seems to use a pretty simple and easy to manipulate representation for metaprogramming purposes. http://docs.julialang.org/en/latest/manual/metaprogramming/

This looks very nice, I think I'll be using this to write my blog posts in the future. Just one whinge: Jekyll 1.0 now has support for a _drafts folder. You might want to consider using that instead of 'published'.
