Most network protocols, including TCP and UDP, are big endian, so little endian really isn't that ubiquitous. And I imagine a big use case for the binary coder will be for networking.

KeePassX - I've been using it for years now. I just put the database on my Dropbox. Quick, convenient, and most importantly for me, always in my own hands.

Some were available through group policies which you could argue is exposed, but I'd say isn't exactly user-friendly.
