Why is that? If I have a job and I know exactly how I want it's done then I can't hire a contractor?

It doesn't make sense engineering and product wise to pay the drivers on the estimate instead of waiting for the trip to finish and do the fare calculation. So I think the latter sounds reasonable.

I think you're misinformed. Drivers are not paid with the percentage of the ride. THey're paid by miles and minutes.

I think what the driver is arguing is that Uber changed its business model from black car only to including UberX and UberPool which drove the price of a trip down and less people using black car. I think this is perfectly reasonable, it&#x

So you think by agreeing to be on Trump's advisory board, Uber agrees with the immigration ban? I guess GM, Tesla, Disney, etc are probably pretending to "stand up for what's right" too , right?

What do you expect Uber/Lyft to do differently? Minimum wage for drivers? We have capitalism. If you think the drivers don't get a lot of money, why don't all of them quit after the first paycheck? It's capitalism, no on

Lol, you have cheap rides because Uber pays a part of it for you. If a ride is worth $10 to a driver then the driver still get $10 no matter if you pay $5 for the ride. Without Uber, a lot of people will be unemployed. Tell me how the drive
