That's just annoying though. It's like not being able to move your music freely around your devices. Granted that you probably will probably only have one Xbox one, but it's still a pain. MS don't seem to have sorted

While there is an air of convenience to being able to pull your games from thin air, it's not really that difficult to carry around your games. Perhaps being able to store them on an SD card would be a pretty good comprimise. I like

If it all hushes down and we begin to get on with our daily lives, with the program still intact, perhaps you'll be able to make an information request. For a fee of course, oh hang on, isn't that how it already works? You'v

Ouch! When someone first described the idea of theming, as in something like CSS and HTML, I totally got it. Can't apps use a descriptive semantic language underneath and just have the OS skin most of it for you? Swapping themes and m

I'm worried about this. My experience of Windows mobile is Windows 8 on a tablet, and I had pretty much nothing but contempt for it. And failed to see anything stylish about it at all! I want links/buttons/actions to stand o

I didn't know if they used git or hg, and I wasn't necessarily having a go at either. The poster obviously thought that there was less friction to an online edit, so you have to ask yourself why that is? Perhaps they don't l

If using the web interface feels better for something like that, it shows just how bad the alternative is. It's not nice when something like source control feels like it gets in the way, but it could be mitigated by having better/

At least you are in agreement that all of those devices are buggy! I for some reason just can't stand the rough edges, and am still waiting for a smartphone that I want - and I've been waiting for a long time. Having said that I

Doesn't really say that much does it? Email and calendar apps can't be that demanding resource wise. The indexing might be. File servers and email can be kept on a low power set-up on the LAN. I can understand the reticence abo

Can someone chime in, with the pros and cons of each network filesystem. And which is a good fit for Linux - or rather for those OSs that don't need to cooperate with Windows? Was NFS ever updated - or replaced? How much of SMB is n
