What difference does it make if a human, dog or robot tries to book a table at a restaurant? As long as it speaks in English it doesn't matter. It's the same outcome.

I think if you're genuinely interested and also pursue projects outside of work as a hobby then you're always searching for how to solve problems you're having outside of work and try a range of things. You go back to work on

Also regret upgrading. Loads of graphical glitches, volume controls randomly stop working, mouse slows down when taking screenshot and my laptop is absolutely crawling performance wise since updating. Worst release ever

the good thing is, you know that when they break something, it'll probably stay broken for a couple more releases and a few years. Like how my mouse Y axis is reversed when I restart... for about 2 years now

OSX always had deep I/O issues with Docker. I was hopeful that the new filesystem would fix the issues there but looking at the results it looks like things are gonna be worse. Anyone got any benchmarks there?

Open a perfectly fine PR that fixes/accomplishes something but prefix PR comment with: "Hey guys," Sit back and watch as you're bombarded with threats and comments about being pro-rape, a straight white male and the like

I like to think of it like this: If you over fetch, you throw it away at the server and not after sending it to the client. You can wrap a standard REST API and it'll still be more optimal. We've been using REST and slowly adding
