The list of source files include avfsession.mm which is likely a C++ wrapper around AVCaptureSession[0], Cocoa's audio and video capture class. [0] https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/AVF

This cannot be stressed enough. I can't tell you how many useless things websites have suggested I would be interested in because I purchased a gift for someone's kid 5 years ago, or whatever. Also, consider that data isn't n

Ever lived in a condo with an HOA (Home Owner's Association)? You get the opposite problem. One person, household, or small set of owners wants to be in power so they can make changes that benefit them, and everyone else wants nothing

Can't we look at places where that is the case today and see? I always hear about how in places like Russia, every student learns much harder math than here in the US, and they learn it better. But I don't see other countries like

I agree wholeheartedly! It reminds me of when I was studying music. When the teacher wanted you to perform a piece for a recital or concert, you'd always play a piece that was a level or two below where you were at because you could na

Are they, though? I suspect most butcher shops and restaurants are using antibacterial soap at this point. I go out of my way to try to buy non-antibacterial soap and it's often impossible to find. I imagine most businesses just order

I concur. They have flags for which apps have in-app purchases. If it's anything more than "get rid of ads" I don't buy it. I would love a flag that says, "ad supported" or something similar. Great idea!

FWIW, I use Cleartune [0]. I think I bought it around iOS 5 or 6 and it's been continually updated. It's current $4US. [0] https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cleartune-chromatic-tuner/id...

I recommend doing a few things: 1) Read papers about this stuff, attend conferences about this stuff, and try to implement some of it yourself. For this particular set of techniques, SIGGRAPH is a good conference to attend and their proceed

Back when I ran a mail server for a small business, I would see the spammers literally going through all the permutations of email addresses for a domain. In the logs you'd see: failure to send to a@example.com failure to send to b@exa

"Booking fees have long been something that consumers grumble about–but pay." Not exactly. I mean yeah, I sometimes pay them, but I simply go out far less because of them. So choose wisely if you're going to go that route!

There's a great episode of Crap From The Past[0] about pop songs that started out as commercial jingles[1]. The most surprising one to me was the Carpenter's hit "We've only Just Begun". [0] http://www.cr
