This is a big deal, congratulations on the milestone. Really looking forward to trying out Reflex FRP / Obelisk from IPFS, in particular the focus on making the source available because fetching Nix packages from semi-public caches and

This is true. I am a NixOS fan, but when a piece of software asks me to use a Nix binary cache it can mask problems like a private git repo or other issues that would prevent a full build without me knowing. Worse yet, a Hydra box eating it

I put off doing LFS for several years: Ubuntu, then Debian, then OSX. I discovered NixOS a couple of years ago and never looked back.

Are you stuck with the interface for the user? Based on what I saw with python and postgres the latest and greatest seems to be: yourthing_custom = yourthing.withPackages(ps: [ps.plugin1 ps.plugin2 ] ) Or are you stuck with how to implement

Interesting that they did not mention 3DR. https://3dr.com/ They went from selling the hobby 3DR Solo (which I own and love) to focusing entirely on the government side.

I live 10 degrees north of the equator. A lot of times during the really hot midday all I can think of is making ice and letting it melt during the night so it can cool the side of the bed. If the freezer is next to your bedroom then the ba

Same thing here (Intel NUC + NixOS). Recently I purchased an HP Envy with and AMD chip for $550 USD and got myself used to sway + i3statusbar-rust. Everything is simple, can be backed up using git and I use at most 300mb of ram after boot.
