Just what I know about the majority of America, this seems like a terrible idea. Most downtown areas in America are pretty empty. This includes Kansas City. There are pockets but it’s not like a uk city where you have the style of small con

Right I did. I guess for those of use that don’t have other human contact those few moments with the front of house are meaningful but for me that’s not the case. But again unless I am going to a nice restaurant I don’t recall having much o

I guess I did not articulate it well but China leap frogged contactless payments and credit cards. Everything is paid with your phone. I consider that ahead.

I still am a fan of QR code menus but the west never executed on it well enough. In China I just order from the menu on my phone. No waiting for front of house. If I do have questions it’s easy to buzz front of house and they will come over

You’re arguing over nothing. All I have consistently said is scam ads/promoted videos exist in high volume on YouTube but usually only for viewer profiles where YouTube has little to no profile. Those are the cheaper spend areas hence

As I originally stated I am happy to be corrected but I don’t think you understand it either. Promoted videos are ads. Premium removes in-stream ads, not in-feed ones. They’re paid placements, not recommendations. And again as a premium use

Please don’t start drama where nothing exists. You were confused and I pointed out that 1) I believe we are talking about promoted, which is paid, videos not the recommendation engine. These of course are not purely ads but are paid for. An

And? YouTube web absolutely has ads and if they have not built a model on your user you will absolutely get the chum ads like scams. I am not sure what you’re trying to tell us.

I think the plot flew way over your head. We were comparing costs and for my reading, saying gaming rig is more about consumer grade hardware and not so much an assumption that you already have one. After all I assume we would be buying a 5

We are talking about ads and promoted videos. Nothing to do with what it is recommending unless I am entirely conflating the root of this subject. If that is true, then of course you would never have seen these as a premium user. Scam video

Honestly not sure what you are talking about. I could either spend $20 a month for my cursor license. Or Spend $2k+ upfront to build a machine to run models locally. Pay for the electricity cost and time to set both the machine and software

Sure but we were talking about gaming rigs to run models locally. You are describing some extreme edge folks that are keeping 24/7 work on gaming rigs in your home.

It goes in direct conflict with your idea. I am sure you know some people within your circle that say they cannot leak data but the fact remains. Over 85% of Fortune 500 companies use some combo of OneDrive or Sharepoint. The companies have

In my experience it’s very common for big companies to not host. Think Fortune 500 type companies. Most are legally happy with their MSA and reasonably confident in security standards.

No I said I don’t believe any of the existing benchmarks do well when it comes to using a tool chain. They built a model specifically to be used with their tool chain calls, something that a lot of the models out there struggle with.
