Hello! Just a couple of notes about it, in case if you haven't seen the README.md yet ;) The Caine is a bot to help maintainers of large Open Source projects to off-load the tagging and assigning functions to the issue reporters. The C

This is absolutely right. Considering that this is an OpenSource project, I think it would be great idea to send a Pull Request for fixing this: https://github.com/indutny/self-signed ? If you feel uncomfortable with t

Let's be honest about it, this patch hasn't got any attention from OpenSSL team yet, but I heard that some people from the team are interested in it. Never got a response, but it looks correct to me.

It only protects one thing - server identity. The best ciphers do you use DHE for negotiating the key, so the conversation between bank and the client is secure anyway.

And my patch for OpenSSL that does the same thing: https://gist.github.com/indutny/1bda1561254f2d133b18 , ping me on email if you want to find out how to use it in your setup.

I believe you could use node.js or https://github.com/indutny/bud for asynchronously selecting SNI context per request. This is very fast and flexible.

bn.js is just kind of sharpened for a elliptic.js usage. Though, the low footprint of the bn.js means that you could just use it for ECDSA operations, and use your own thing for the rest of the bitcoin stuff. Thanks for a definite answer!

Hey guys! Still not considering to use https://github.com/indutny/elliptic for your EC operations? It seems like Bitcore has moved to it, and are quite fine with the results: http://blog.bitpay.com/2014

Heh... I do feel like I'm promoting bud a way too much here, but it seems that it could be better suited for PaaS than HAProxy, mostly because of it's async SNI feature. Basically, bud can load the certificates and private keys fo

The bud ( https://github.com/indutny/bud ) does support this kind of hot config reloads and process restarts. It's just starting new worker processes on SIGHUP, and let old workers wait until all their connections

A bit of self-promotion, but you may want to take a look at bud ( https://github.com/indutny/bud ) too. It is basically a TLS terminating proxy, and does support some availability features (if you need them). The bud i

I do expect users to hash the message before passing it to ECDSA, this way you could use any hashing library with it. Though, elliptic.js does actually depends on hash.js to seed it's PRNG. Thank you!

Yeah, your concerns seems clear to me. Though, permissions that this app is requesting are pretty minimal and are requiring just an access to the bitcoin network and to the 8.8.8.8 DNS server. Anyway, I'll probably make it more user-fr

On other hand - you could try using my tool, and keep it running up until it'll find the key. It doesn't collect any dumps and does all processing in a real time.
