This has got nothing to do with JS. Plenty of devs (me included) work on frontend and backend JS without containers and everything is instant for us. OP has a special use case or build pipeline necessitating such complexity.

TikTok would be naive to believe that that tactic would alleviate bullying. Anyone long around knows that the internet will find a reason to take you down if they get salty for some reason. Maybe if you’re unattractive, that itself becomes

Most of the content was already available online no? People from around the world could see the sessions after the fact. The only valuable component was the face to face interactions which can only be partially replicated online.

As someone who has followed apple for some time, their messaging has always been overly positive. I agree that it could be plain and blunt but this company is frequently torn to shreds by the internet for even a slight misstep. So I am not

That was password stuffing against iCloud. Only mandatory 2FA would’ve prevented it - which Apple did with the next release of iOS.

Terraform and Ansible are not nonos! I use them for my small product and they are reliably good! Kubernetes has much more complexity and a steeper learning curve compared to those tools! But it has its own benefits. Apply what is necessary

I can somewhat understand this. 1. React targets a rolling release platform which keeps on changing. On top of that, most people are not always on the latest version. If you are targeting something like an enterprise, you'd be stuck wi

Debian simply is less juicier to attack than consumer focused stores. Debian has much more technically aware and vigilant user base. It's also probably being used somewhere where there's constant monitoring for security and breach

Indian being a nanny state is an understatement. The govt simply has (and always had) a high distrust of its citizens (emanating from the british raj). Things have improved somewhat but as recent as 2015-16 you had to get your documents att

Thanks. It was mostly a personal itch. I had been using Pocket for sometime but it honestly wasn't cutting it anymore. I built a smaller app over the Pocket api but as time progressed, the app diverged more and more. Once the Pocket ap

There’s decision fatigue on parts of consumers too. Should i pay for this now or not? If the publisher demands payment after the fact, then they barely have any leverage in the transaction. If before, there’ll be a lot of hemming and hawing

Some surprises for me - 1. Why is VC funding so down the rank compared to self funding, friends and family, angels and even debt? Is it probably because VC funding expects a >100x exit and most SaaS probably can't deliver that? Or a
