I'm a Fastmail user and I've been pretty happy with my mutt + mbsync / msmtp setup on macOS. It's nice to have a local copy of your mail at all times.

I’ve always used 15” MBPs without external displays as my only computer for years. I like being mobile and don’t particularly like having a desktop + laptop. Since COVID I’ve been stuck at home so I decided to finally get an external monito

Replacing my 16" MBP (8 core i9 2.3ghz / 32GB RAM) with the new Air as well. All of that power (yes I know, it's not sustained) without a fan is incredible.

This used to be a concern for me earlier on in my vegan years but I soon realized that veganism isn't about eating a "pure" diet, it's about the animals. The best thing for the animals is for these products to sell and I

Yeah, it's a little meta. I was afraid that what I was trying to say wouldn't quite come across. It's why I mentioned "the shell I'm currently typing in" so many times.

Emacs key bindings work system-wide on macOS. Having the same keys to navigate no matter what app you’re in is a huge productivity booster.

macOS has emacs style key bindings like this OS-wide. Ctrl+e: end of line Ctrl+a: beginning of line Ctrl+p: go up a line Ctrl+n: go down a line Ctrl+f: go forward a character Ctrl+b: go back a character etc...

The Instagram story-esque design is an interesting take. I'm viewing this on a desktop but I'm not sure how I feel about it. Usually I prefer scrolling but I suppose it works well with the high-res photos.
