Makes me wonder, what could we do, or what could current organizations do to recreate that environment of research and creativity in today's (and tomorrow's) world? Also, what do you do in your own life (if any) to create that sor

There's a graph of that in the Arxiv paper submitted yesterday: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15858197 (page 7) As it looks, for move times < 0.2s, Stockfish is stronger, anything above that, AlphaZero is str

As a Shogi enthusiast (but complete beginner), I'd like to have seen more Shogi details in the article. Nevertheless there's plenty of other things to geek out on...

I think this highlights the insight that IPFS is more of a "decentralized transfer" tool rather than "decentralized storage" tool necessarily. Storage is part of the caching, but the discovery of the required data pieces

Many people mentioned that the Estonian ID card is vulnerable. I have an e-residency card, so I tried it out on https://keychest.net/roca If I use "pkcs15-tool --read-ssh-key 1" to read out the public key, (in the

I was at an event this week where Rushdie was speaking about this book (among other things)[0], apparently pretty much all of the book was written before the election - the reality just worked out in a way that it fit with the book. In a se
